Cats

Since I've lived with cats for 45 years, it seemed pretty obvious to start my "new" career as a surface pattern designer with... cats! My eye has always been more abstract and somewhat geometric - I've never really liked realistic painting - so my first successful print was this one, which I named Nala Cat. With this design I made it into the top 50 of the Spoonflower Challenge for the first time - I came 37th!
